Oria Marine is a small French company building one product on the long arc: a box that plugs into your NMEA network and turns every reading the boat already produces into something you can replay, share, and act on.
Antoine started Oria Marine after years of watching boats throw away their own data. Modern instruments measure twenty-eight things every second — engine RPM, depth, fuel, wind, heading — and almost none of it is ever written down.
The first Oria Box shipped to a charter operator in Brittany the following spring. Today the same product runs on private boats, in sailing schools, and across managed fleets. We have remained small on purpose.
Oria reads twenty-eight signals from the instruments you already own. We do not add sensors. We make the ones you already paid for actually useful — replayable, exportable, and tied to the boat for life.
The box is hardware. The platform is software. The relationship is yearly. The decisions are yours.
Marine equipment outlives most software companies. Our hardware ships in IP-rated housings; our cloud follows European data law; our team plans to be here when your second boat is delivered.
We design for the helm, the engineer's bench, and the harbour-master's office — not for the demo. Every screen has to be defensible at sea.
We record what the instruments say. Where there's noise, we say so. Where there's nothing, we don't fabricate. The audit trail is the product.
